Slot It SICA35D Alfa Romeo 155 V6 T1 ‘Castrol’ n.26—PRE-ORDER NOW!

The Alfa Romeo 155 V6 TI is a racing car built to race in the DTM (Deutsche Tourenwagen Meisterschaft) series in 1993. At that time the German Touring Car Championship was the peak of technology for touring car racing, and it reserved for cars of Class 1 (first division or D1). The rules mandated cars with an engine displacement of 2.5 liters and 6 cylinders at most, derived from approved models and produced in no less than 25,000 units. The rules allowed deep changes to the car, provided that the external lines were maintained.

When Alfa Romeo introduced its 420 bhp, four-wheel drive 155, the more conventional rear-wheel drive Mercedes 190 couldn’t matched Alfa’s performance. In 1993, the Italian car dominated the category, winning 12 races out of 20 with its the two factory drivers, thus winning both drivers and constructors titles. To date, the Alfa Romeo 155 is the only non-German car to have won a DTM championship.

There are a few of these exquisite hand-made MMK replicas of the Ferrari TR 61 that won LeMans in 1961 and we have cut the price to make it easier for you to own the winning car.

MMK 45 Ferrari 250 TR61, 1961 LeMans winner

Complete painted, assembled, ready-to-run 1/32 scale slot car. This has to be one of the most beautiful and purposeful designs ever to come from Ferrari’s racing department. Phil Hill and Olivier Gendebien drove this car to victory at LeMans in 1961, and another TR61 finished second for a total Ferrari triumph. MMK’s model captures the classic look of the original in 1:32 scale with plenty of detail. A must for any Ferrari enthusiast’s collection!

PLEASE NOTE THERE IS A SMALL SLIT ON THE HOOD of the car for a small “windshield” like piece that DOES NOT COME with this item… It is in the photo but you will not get one with your car. You can easily make one from a 1/8 x 1/4-inch-piece of flat clear plastic—the big curved windshield does come with the model.

New Cars Coming Soon

Scalextric C3831A Anniversary Collection Car No.1 – 2010s, Bentley Continental GT3—PRE-ORDER NOW!

As Scalextric entered the second decade of the 21st century it has continued to bring technological advances to the slot racing arena. Following Digital has come ARC; a race management system that allows the user to wirelessly manage all elements of the ‘Scalextric race experience’ using Bluetooth technology via a tablet or smart device. ARC seamlessly merges the excitement of real-time slot racing, with the thrill of on screen gameplay.

The Bentley Continental GT3 is just one of many GT3 race cars now offered by Scalextric. Making its competitive debut at the 2013 Gulf 12 Hours in Abu Dhabi on 13th December 2013, many scoffed that a car the size of the Continental would be successful but it has proved to bean amazing car, powerful and well handling it is still one of the best cars in its class. The Abu Dhabi race would mark Bentleys return to motorsport ten years after its dominant win at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2003 and as of now the car continues to win in the Blancpain GT sprint and Endurance series, British GT, GT Cup and on many Scalextric layouts across the world.

Mercedes-AMG, based in Affalterbach, Germany have been engineering and customizing Mercedes for decades and still stick to their often quoted, ‘one man, one engine’ philosophy with engine builders proudly marking each engine built with a plaque displaying their name once complete.

C3834A    McLaren M7C John Surtees, 1970 Dutch GP Legend – Limited Edition

No man is ever likely to emulate John Surtees’ feat of winning World Championships on two wheels and four. Surtees’ prowess on motorcycles won him universal respect, and soon after trying out cars for Vanwall and Aston Martin in 1959, he switched full-time to cars in 1960. Having driven for Lotus, Ferrari, Honda and BRM, Surtees then set up Team Surtees in 1970. The season didn?t start to well with the first 3 races all ending in retirement, but in round 5 at the Dutch GP held at Zandvoort Surtees got his first point of the season. Surtees had to work hard for the victory after Qualifying 14th, but after some hard work and some luck through others retiring Surtees held on to the final points position.

Carrera 30182 Power Speeders set Digital 132

11.48 x 5.87-feet

The AF Corse Team is sure to be up front in the Carrera championship. They’ll be facing a stiff challenge from the updated version of the Chevrolet Corvette C7.R that has already won the famous long distance race seven times in a row. This model was introduced in 2014 in Detroit and is more aerodynamic and has a stiffer chassis. All the experts see it at the front of the pack. However, the Ferrari 458 Italia GT2 is famous for its mastery in the bends. Both produce a wonderfully musical 8-cylinder sound. Can the Corvette retain its titles or will it be beaten to pole position and championship glory by the eager Ferrari team around this 25.9-foot racetrack? It’s easy to imagine the indefatigable burning desire of the drivers as they head off to the Su¨dkurve after a 300 km/h sprint down the straight.

Scalextric C3694A British Touring Car Champs 2014& 2015 BMW 125 Series 1 &Honda Civic-PRE-ORDER NOW!

The 2014 British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) was decided on the last day of racing at the famous Brands Hatch Circuit in Kent, UK. Driver Colin Turkington, in his eBay Motors BMW, had to overcome the challenge put forward by MG’s Jason Plato, who just happened to be the most successful BTCC driver in history! The impressive one two from Plato and Tordoff wasn’t enough as Turkington secured the victory.

The 2015 BTCC season ended with Scottish driver Gordon Shedden claiming the title in dramatic fashion after one of the most exciting races of the season. In front of a record crowd of 42,000, the Honda Yuasa Racing driver had to finish the race in 6th place to secure the title. Working his way through the pack from 19th position, Shedden managed to grab enough points to push race winner Jason Plato into second place overall. The exhilarating end to the race was a fantastic way to see out another great season and really exemplifies the high octane racing that is typical in the BTCC.

Scalextric C3741 Ford XC Falcon – 1978 Bathurst 1000—PRE-ORDER NOW!

Driver: Allan Moffat & Jacky Ickx

Pushing for more television time, the 1978 Hardie-Ferodo 1000 saw the introduction of the Hardies Heroes Top 10 runoff for pole position. Rain in the morning meant the track was damp during the first run, which was certainly reflected in the times. That was until Allan Moffat went out and, ignoring the puddles, ran a time six seconds faster than anyone else (while hitting 159 mph on Conrod Straight).

Moffat was eventually pushed back to third and, unfortunately, the race didn’t go as planned. Allan was forced to retire on lap 81, allowing rival Peter Brock to take the victory. Digital Plug Ready

Scalextric C3696 Legends Ford XY GT-HO Falcon, 1972 Bathurst—PRE-ORDER NOW!

Rain was very much the theme for the 1972 Bathurst. John Goss sat behind the wheel of the Ford Falcon and, in practice, set the fastest lap time before blowing an engine. On the race day, with the engine changed, the rain continued to pour, which was unfortunate for the Falcons as they were not suited to driving in wet conditions. As the rain eased a dry line started to appear. Goss pushed the Falcon to its limit and started to close the gap to the cars ahead. Luck though, was not on Goss’s or the Falcon’s side when on lap 24 the strain on the car got too much and the engine blew for a second time.
