Electric Dreams was born in 1992 when the demand for vintage slot cars suddenly exploded. Now in the hands of businessman, Scott Bader, Electric Dreams has become one of the largest sellers of new and vintage slot car racing products in the 1/24 and 1/32 scales. Located in Los Angeles, California, Electric Dreams is also building a new facility to offer private tours of the history of slot cars, opening sometime in 2009, which will be featuring the world's largest collection of 1/24 and 1/32 slot car kits, and cars from the 1960's classic era.

Scott Bader is possibly the world's most dedicated slot car enthusiast. When he was a child he fell in love with the hobby, but unfortunately could not afford the great models that were available. Many years later and after a brilliant and successful career in the construction material business, Scott now has the means and time to devote to his hobbies. Besides slot cars he enjoys racing full-size vintage machinery, everything from Corvette Sting Rays to a Can-Am Lola T165, and a March F1 formerly raced by the great Ronnie Peterson.

Scott has been very successful, notching multiple wins at virtually every major track in the U.S. and Canada with his well prepared cars.

Electric Dreams is constantly seeking to add to their collection of vintage items, including interesting hand-built cars, parts, intact kits and factory-built RTR cars in both 1/24 and 1/32 scale.
