Electric Dreams was born in 1992 when the market for vintage slot cars suddenly exploded. Now in the hands of businessman Scott Bader, Electric Dreams has become one of the largest distributor and retailer of new and vintage slot car racing products on the planet. Located in Los Angeles, California, Electric Dreams is also building a new museum to host the world's largest collection of slot car kits and cars from the 1960's classic era, to open sometimes in 2008.

Scott Bader is the world's most dedicated slot car racing enthusiast. When he was a child he fell in love with the hobby, but could not afford the great cars available then. Many years later and after a brilliant and successful career in the construction material business, Scott has now the means and time to devote to his hobbies, which besides slot cars include racing full-size vintage machinery from Corvette Sting Rays to a Can-Am Lola T165 and a March F1 formerly raced by the great Ronnie Peterson. Former Nissan USA racing program manager Clayton Cunningham manages Scott's racing team. Sctt has been very successful, notching multiple wins with his well prepared cars.

At the same time, Electric Dreams is constantly seeking to add to their collection of vintage items, including interesting hand-built cars, parts, intact kits and factory-built RTR cars in both 1/24 and 1/32 scale.
