Lotus 38 Ford
These models are of the extraordinary 1965 to 1967 Lotus type 38 indianapolis car. All were powered by Ford 4-cam 4.2-liter engines and they were in a position of winning the race at least twice. Several versions are available including Jimmy Clark's 1965 Indy 500 winning entry, the 1965 entry of Dan Gurney and the 1966 cars of Clark and Al Unser. Others will follow including the 1965 car of Bobby Johns and the 1967 works entries of Clark and Hill with a modified version with longer wheelbase designed for the BRM H-16 engine. These models are just plain extraordinary in their beauty and precision. They are not only shelf queens but run extremely well too.
