The September/October issue of Model Car Racing has arrived—add a copy to your next order.

Model Car Racing Magazine, September/October 2017 number 95

See how you can recreate the Ferraris and Maseratis and Hudson Hornets that competed in the unbelievable Carrera Panamericana Road Race from Panama to Texas in the early fifties. Learn how set up your race track with split sector or segment times and how to use the system to set up a drag strip in 1/32 scale. There are full reports on the prototypes’ racing background and the performance of the 1/32 scale models of the 1952 Ferrari 340 Mexico Vignale Berlinetta, 1970 Camaro, 1976 Lancia Stratos Group 5, 1976 Capri 2600 RS, 1982 Porsche 908/3 Turbo, 1995 Opel Calibra and 2016 Ford GT. The track plans list all the sections needed so you can assemble a 2-Lane version of the Mount Para Raceway on a 5 x 9-foot ping-pong tabletop and a 2-Lane Paramount Ranch Track on a 9 x 14-foot tabletop with plastic track. There is also a plan for an HO scale AFX 4-Lane Paramount Ranch track on a 2 1/2 x 6 1/2-foot tabletop.

The second version of the wild Aussie Ford XB Falcon C3697. This second version does not have a front splitter or side and rear windows. There is an oil drum and jerry can on the back. The new version has simulated rust, dirt and dust all over with it, with a few “scale size” dents.
