It’s NASCAR race season!

We have updated our stock of ready to race NASCAR cars. You can race modern Car of Tomorrow racers and replicas of some of the hottest cars in NASCAR history, back to the Grand National stockers of the sixties. Go to and click on the upper right box beside “search” and enter NASCAR plus your favorite brand (like NASCAR Chevrolet, NASCAR Ford, NASCAR Dodge or NASCAR Plymouth) to see the full list of available cars. All of these cars are out of production so this is a rare chance to add some of these cars your collection.

Scalextric C3655A Legends-Tyrrell F1-Limited Edition

Limited Edition: 4,000 pieces

Driven by Jackie Stewart, the Tyrrell 003 debuted at the 1971 Spanish Grand Prix and won at the first attempt. Owners Ken Tyrrell and Jackie Stewart took advantage as Lotus and Ferrari struggled during 1971; they won six races with Stewart claiming his second World Championship. Designed by Derek Gardner, the project, codenamed “SP” which meant “Special Project”, cost Tyrrell over £22,000 of his own money. The resulting car named Tyrrell 001 made its debut at Oulton Park at a non-championship race. After the season had finished Gardner redesigned some sections of the car, altering the airbox, remodelling the nose section, lengthening the wheelbase and slightly narrowing the monocoque. The redesigned car became known as the 002 and 003, which were chassis numbers given to each of the cars made for the 1971 season. The Tyrrell 003 remains the Tyrrell team’s most successful car being one of the most Grands Prix-winning chassis in Formula One history.

Peter Manton is a highly respected driver and car preparer. During the 1960s and the era of the Neptune, Total and Shell racing teams associated with him. Airfix Starter Sets are ideal for beginners. Medium Starter Sets are a little more challenging to build than the Small Starter Set range, with more parts. Each Medium Starter Set includes glue, two brushes and six acrylic paints.

Static model car kit that can be converted into a slot car body. Kit includes glue, paint and paint brush and makes a good gift item for the beginning model builder. It also makes a good addition to the scenery on your 1/32 scale slot car layout.

Need a chassis for this body? See all the available universal chassis HERE. In that category you will find a variety of chassis manufactured for the purpose of building complete cars from body kits. We have tried to include in the product page for each chassis as much manufacturer’s information as possible, but this is often somewhat scant. In general, your best option is to select a chassis with adjustable wheelbase so you can simply set the wheelbase to fit the body. Also, the narrower the chassis, the wider the wheels and tires you will be able to fit under any given body.
