Believe it or not, there is a thriving Slot car racing scene in Turkey, complete with national events. The event in the video was held in the Tepe Nautilus shopping center.
Have a look at the video below. One fun note about the Tepe Nautilus Shopping Center: they get 50,000 shoppers on the weekends but only have parking for 2700. Sounds like fun

Living now in Samos Greece, did race slot cars in Ashton club Manchester in the sixtys, we won the nat champs twice.
